🟦 DTF TRANSFERS

Q11: What are DTF transfers?

A: DTF (Direct to Film) transfers are full-color prints that are heat-applied onto garments. Your design is printed on a clear PET film, coated with a powder adhesive, cured, and then transferred using a heat press. They work beautifully on cotton, polyester, blends, and more. DTF is vibrant, long-lasting, and requires no weeding.

Q12: What makes your DTF transfers better than others?

A: Our DTF transfers are printed using high-end 4-head machines with top-quality inks and hot peel film. Unlike cold peel transfers that require waiting, ours can be peeled instantly after pressing, saving you valuable production time. We also offer detailed designs with crisp lines and accurate color output. Whether you're printing 1 shirt or 1,000, your results will be consistent and professional.

Q13: Are your DTF transfers hot peel or cold peel?

A: Our standard DTF transfers are hot peel — which means you can peel the film off immediately after pressing. This is a major advantage for speed and efficiency, especially when handling large runs. Specialty DTF films, however, such as glitter or reflective, are cold peel. Instructions are included with every order.

Q14: What sizes do you offer for DTF transfers?

A: We offer a wide range of sheet sizes, from small 3x3 designs to massive 22x60 inch gang sheets. Our most popular sizes include 11x16, 22x24, and full 22-inch-wide rolls. You can choose the size that best fits your project, or use our Gang Sheet Builder to customize a layout with multiple designs on one sheet.

Q15: How do I use the Gang Sheet Builder?

A: Our Gang Sheet Builder is a drag-and-drop tool that lets you upload multiple designs, resize them, and place them on one large sheet to save money and space. You can preview your layout before ordering and even see live pricing updates. It’s beginner-friendly and helps you get the most out of every inch. No need for graphic design experience!

Q16: What file types do you accept for DTF orders?

A: We recommend PNG files with a transparent background and 300 DPI resolution. We also accept TIFF, PSD, SVG, PDF, and AI files. Make sure your files are clean, properly sized, and flattened if necessary. If your file has transparency issues, it may result in unexpected print artifacts.

Q17: Do you offer design help?

A: Yes! If you need your image cleaned up, resized, or vectorized, we offer design services at an additional cost. Our team can also help you with custom layout, gang sheet arrangement, and file preparation. If you're not sure where to start, we’re happy to guide you. Design support makes the ordering process easier and more professional.

Q18: Will you fix my artwork before printing?

A: We print your files exactly as they’re uploaded unless you request design assistance. This means any issues with resolution, transparency, or layout will print as-is. For best results, double-check your file before uploading or purchase artwork help if needed. We want your order to come out perfectly.

Q19: Can I use DTF transfers on any fabric?

A: DTF transfers work on nearly any fabric type — cotton, polyester, tri-blends, nylon, and even treated leather. They’re highly versatile and ideal for both light and dark garments. Whether you're decorating T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, or uniforms, DTF gives you consistent results across the board.

Q20: What temperature and time should I press DTF transfers?

A: Our standard DTF transfers press at 310°F for 12 seconds using medium pressure. For polyester or heat-sensitive fabrics, drop the temp to 265°F. After pressing, peel the film immediately. For specialty films, follow the specific instructions included with your order.

Q21: What kind of heat press do I need for DTF?

A: We recommend a professional clamshell or swing-away heat press that delivers even pressure. While some Cricut or hobby presses may work for small jobs, they don’t offer the consistency needed for reliable results. Investing in a quality press ensures better adhesion and a longer-lasting print.

Q22: Are your DTF transfers pre-cut?

A: No — we ship your transfers as-is, especially if ordered as a gang sheet. You'll need to cut them apart using scissors, a rotary cutter, or a vinyl trimmer. This gives you full flexibility over how you use and apply each piece. It’s also more cost-effective for bulk orders.

Q23: Do you offer color matching?

A: We do our best to match colors based on your file, but we do not offer Pantone-certified matching at this time. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration and file format. For critical branding projects, we recommend test prints. Overall, our color output is highly accurate and vibrant.

Q24: Can I order just one transfer?

A: Absolutely! There are no minimums, so you can order a single design or hundreds — whatever fits your needs. Small orders are perfect for testing a design, making a one-off shirt, or doing a client sample. You’ll receive the same quality and customer support no matter your order size.

Q25: How durable are DTF transfers after washing?

A: Our DTF transfers are built to last — up to 50–75 washes when applied and cared for properly. The prints stay vibrant and resist cracking or peeling. For best results, follow our care instructions closely and avoid bleach, harsh detergents, and high heat drying.

Q26: Can I use your DTF transfers on hats or shoes?

A: Yes! You can use our DTF transfers on curved surfaces like hats and structured shoes with the right heat press attachment or tool. It may take a little finesse, but many customers use our transfers successfully on headwear, canvas sneakers, and even tote bags.

Q27: Do you offer sample DTF prints?

A: Yes, we offer a free sample pack to let you feel the quality and try before you commit. Just pay for shipping and we’ll send you a set of sample prints in different sizes and finishes. It’s a great way to test pressing settings and show clients before placing a larger order.

Q28: Do you print white underbase on dark colors?

A: Yes — our printers automatically apply a white underbase to ensure that your colors stay bold and vibrant on dark garments. You don’t need to request it separately. Just upload your full-color file and we’ll take care of the rest.

Q29: What is specialty DTF?

A: Specialty DTF includes our enhanced effect films like glitter, glow-in-the-dark, reflective, thermochromic (heat-reactive), pearlescent, chameleon, and rhinestone-compatible film. These transfers give your designs unique finishes and textures. They're great for making your work stand out or creating themed apparel. Each specialty type has its own press settings and peel method.

Q30: Are specialty DTF transfers cold peel?

A: Yes, all specialty films require a cold peel for best results. After pressing, let the film cool completely before peeling to ensure the special effect bonds correctly. A final repress with parchment or a finishing sheet is recommended. Instructions are included with every specialty order.

Q31: How do I press glitter DTF transfers?

A: Press glitter DTF at 310°F for 15 seconds with medium to firm pressure. Once it cools completely, peel the film slowly. Then repress for 3–5 seconds with parchment paper to lock in the sparkle and soften the feel. Glitter DTF adds a stunning shimmer and is perfect for fashion designs or standout branding.

Q32: Do glow-in-the-dark transfers really glow?

A: Yes! Our glow-in-the-dark film charges under light and emits a greenish glow in darkness. It’s great for kids' designs, Halloween prints, or anything you want to stand out. For best effect, press at 300°F for 15 seconds, cold peel, and give it a quick second press.

Q33: What is thermochromic DTF?

A: Thermochromic DTF changes color when heat is applied — like body heat or warm air. It's a fun and interactive specialty effect that adds creativity to your design. The base color shifts based on temperature, making the garment dynamic and eye-catching. Press at 320°F for 15 seconds, cold peel.

Q34: Can I order a sample of each specialty effect?

A: Yes! Our sample packs can include standard and specialty DTF so you can see the difference in feel, finish, and appearance. This is a great way to test settings and wow your customers with new options. Just request one during checkout or contact us directly.

Q35: Can I combine multiple specialty effects on one sheet?

A: Unfortunately, specialty films are printed one type at a time, so effects like glitter and glow cannot be combined on the same sheet. If your order includes multiple effects, each will be printed on its corresponding specialty film. That way, we preserve quality and application standards for each type.

Q36: Are specialty transfers washable?

A: Yes — all specialty DTF prints are designed to withstand washing when properly applied and cared for. Always wash inside out, cold water, and avoid high heat drying. Specialty films like glitter and reflective may be slightly stiffer, but they still hold up great over time.

Q37: Are specialty films safe for children’s clothing?

A: Absolutely. All of our materials, including specialty films, are non-toxic and safe for use on kids' garments. However, always test press settings if you're using delicate or stretchable fabrics. When in doubt, request a sample and try it on the material first.

Q38: Can specialty transfers be used on hats or non-garment items?
